Title - The OG of Beer

 

The entire campaign boils down to a simple idea. The idea is when choosing beer, "be weiser". Who, what, when, where, and why all stem from this central phrase. Adolphus Busch founded the brand back in the 1800's. I decided it is time to bring him back to life to put all of the IPA drinking yuppies in their place. The design was picked to echo Adolphus's German heritage. The color palette was picked to be instantly correlated with the Budweiser brand. Once I had the "new" face of the company, I had to decide where to put him. To cover all of the bases I gave Adolphus presence in print, social media, and the real world. His costume is meant to show the "fun-ness" of the character, and gives him a high level of meme-ability (which promotes organic recognition). Once the O.G. of Beer is back, the opportunities to use him in ad spots become limitless.
